I tell ya, when I came here everybody mentioned how terrible the winters were, and I didn't believe them....until it actually came! Man, it is really really cold and we have lots and lots of snow. I don't love being freezing all of the time, but this morning was so pretty. I was getting ready to come home from school and the snow was beautiful. I have never seen anything like it. It was extremely sunny with a bright blue sky, but the snow was being blown off the roof of the buildings by the strong winds. This made the tiny little snow crystals to fill the air. It looked like everywhere outside was full of sparkles by the way the sun was hitting the snow in the air. It was absolutely magical and beautiful. It is the moments like these that really make me appreciate just how beautiful things can be. I don't think that this description did it justice, but if you have some idea of what it was like; I was successful in my description.
Today was, all in all, an unproductive day (study-wise). I just dabbled in a few subjects. But look out because tomorrow I am going to suck back some major information. On a fun note, I went over to a friend's house today and had dinner with two of my classmates and then watched a movie. It was really nice to get out and socialize with two really nice people. Hopefully we will be able to do more things this semester together. It was great to not study for the evening, but now I've got a lot of work to do so that I can eliminate some stress when things start to get hairy.
